 Food That Hugs You

We are very pleased that Astaria Restaurant is wearing +Positive Energy Bands! The Wall Street Journal calls Astaria Restaurant "A Hidden Gem" and with a mantra Food That Hugs You, it is no wonder why Astaria is one of the best in fine dining.

About Astaria:
"San Mateo natives and friends, Eleni Lolas and Alicia Petrakis opened Astaria Catering in 1995. With eight successful years as caterers, their passion for people, food and entertaining grew into Astaria Restaurant and Bar. New guests should not be surprised to see one or both of them on the restaurant floor as they are deeply involved in daily operations. Each member of the management team was handpicked to advance their idea of passion."

Anchoring to Remind Yourself to Stay Positive

Positive pos-i-tive [poz-i-tiv]
- adjective
emphasizing what is hopeful, laudable or to the good; valuable

What does it truly mean to stay positive?

Staying positive is not a simple task. Reading a page about tips on staying positive won't suddenly change your outlook on life, but it can make you start thinking differently. The main trick to staying positive is wanting to be happy. If you want to be successful and positive, then you can! When it seems like the world is closing in on you, it is easy to fall of track and into the dangerous pit of self doubt, anger, and depression. You can read all the self help books and beautiful quotes from the past greats who've lived amongst us but if you are not walking the walk, it is easily thrown away.

Having a physical anchor to remind you to stay on path is the key to achieving your goal. Visit Positive Energy Bands and see how powerful having a physical reminder can be!

Applied Positivity in the Workforce

One of the most recognizable internet commerce brands Zappos com has built a company culture around one of their most important values: “Build a positive team and family spirit.” Their excellent customer service has set the bar very high in its industry. With a policy of free shipping both ways on shoes, clothing, and more. 365-day return policy, over 1000 brands, and 24/7 friendly customer service; it is no wonder that customers keep on coming back. Their hiring process isn't solely based on academic achievements but also on personal attitude. "The final value is 'Be humble.' When candidates fly into Las Vegas for interviews, Zappos might check on how the prospect treated the driver of their shuttle service. 'I want to know about that interaction,' says company recruiter Andrew Kovacs."

Having an upbeat aptitude not only affects your personal outlook on life, but also the company's core values and mission statement. After all, you are part of a team that keeps moving towards its goal.
